You don't have to travel to France to learn how to cook crêpes with ease and style. Whether savory or sweet, crêpes add tempting textures and fabulous flavor to your life.

Tim Smith, Certified Culinarian with the American Culinary Federation, will take you on a journey back in time and around the world. From the dawn of crêpes to the present day, you will gain a greater appreciation for this delicate dish and its evolution.

Tim will also lead you through each step of crêpe preparation. Learn about key ingredients, how to mix the batter, and the equipment needed to make and present perfect crêpes at home. This hands-on class will get you involved in every aspect of preparing this simple and delicious dish -crêpes. Don't worry - your effort will be rewarded with our specialty savory crêpes!

While you practice flipping the crêpes more saucy secrets will be reveled. What is the most famous crêpe? What is the mysterious story behind Crêpe Suzette? Who was its muse? Enroll in our informal class to find out the tasty secrets of this classic and scrumptious dessert!

After "working hard" together, "The Art of Crêpes" will culminate with the pleasure of enjoying Crêpes Suzette together with a glass of wine - a perfect ending to a delicious class! EAT, INDULGE and ENJOY!

Wine Demystified

 

Wine is a labor of love and passion, hard work and providence, all precisely mixed together. You don’t have to be an expert to enjoy it – a fine wine speaks for itself if you listen to it. But the sensory experience can be transformed from a simple pleasure to a profound one with a bit of knowledge. So go ahead, indulge in study and practice!

Do you know that champagne can be still, as well as sparkling? Do you know what makes champagne bubbly? Are Burgundy wines red or white? Do you know that mold is a key ingredient in making certain types of wine?

Naomi Smith, a wine expert and professional wine consultant, will give the answer to these and other intriguing & useful facts about wine in our Art of Wine Class. Begin your journey into the world of wine with us and learn to “read the lines” of a wine label and analyze a bottle of wine, how wines are rated, how to pair your food with the right wine and many other useful things. As a class exercise, five different types of wine will be paired with hand-selected cheeses from artisan producers. At the end of the class you’ll have the confidence to read a restaurant wine list, pick up a fine wine at the local shop and impress your friends with it.

Whether you are a cork dork or new to this ever evolving and fascinating industry, this class will be perfect for you.

Joining us for an evening class and we will show you how to make ten fascinating, tongue tantalizing espresso drinks.

It is easier than you think to become a skilled at-home barista and to amaze your family and friends with flavorful and eye catching espresso drinks. Join us for a fun and relaxed hands-on class! You will get to do and try simply designed coffee drinks with ingredients you may already have in your kitchen!

Our professional coffee mixologist from Italy will transform you into an artist-home-barista in just a matter of minutes and without having a commercial size espresso machine. He will enlighten you with ten easy to prepare espresso drinks using traditional and simple methods. So, bring your eagerness to learn, your passion for espresso drinks and let us do the rest!
