DINU DIACONESCU 

He is a glass sculptor and a member of the "Fine Arts Union" of Romania. Due to his exceptional talent, he is considered to be one of the greatest glassware artists in his country.

Designer for a reputable glassware factory in Romania
Various Romanian art competitions ñ won first and second place on each participation
Worked as a master in art glass in the Loire Valley - France with the following artists:
Scott Slagerman (USA)
Pedro Velaso (Portugal)
Stefano Poletti (Italy)
Worked for NAQO art studio in Paris, France as an art glass master
Worked in Côte d'Azur, France, with an Italian master of art glass from Murano, Italy
Returned to Romania and opened his own art glass studio
Invited to attend and demonstrate his artwork at the European Centre for Research and Development of Art Glass in France

  • XVI century style artistic glass shaping, done entirely in his studio
  • Applied decorations in relief at high temperatures
  • Sculpture on high temperature glass
  • Fusing and thermal glass work
